Skull Appreciation Day 2013!

Today's the day. The dead are here!!!!
The idea started over at the Skulladay blog. To have a day set aside to honor the bones beneath our flesh.
Smeared and Smudged has organized a massive bone... I mean blog hop, to include not only S&S members but any dead, or living artist that wants to join us.
There're some amazing prizes up for grabs as well. For full details go to Terra.

Each designer along the way is featuring a handmade Skull-themed project or more, for those undead member of the world.

My first project features an image by Rick St Dennis and is called Monument, you can find this image in the Skull section of the store.
Here is my creation:
I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers. for the tag I used Distress Inks, Tim Holtz Stamps and heat embossing powder. added a glittery swirl, some jewels and ribbons.
If you love this image you should visit Smeared Ink, they have a new rubber stamp set featuring Rick St. Dennis images called Morte.
Next I will share a set of ATC's, the images are from Smeared Ink and Delicious Doodles and the backgrounds are from Nicecrane Designs.

Death Finds Us All...

Here is my creation for this weeks challenges at Smudgy Antics - Triple Threat.  We were asked to use at least 3 stamped images(clear, rubber or digital) in our projects.They want to see 3 (or more) focal images combined together to make a scene...or... combine three or more images to create one focal image.
I created a focal image using three images from the set: Quoth the Raven from Smeared Ink.
