The supplies used:
- Scrabble tiles
- Golden Paint: Carbon Black
- Ranger's Glossy Accent
- E6000 adhesive
- Ring Blanks
Images by Rick St. Dennis; Viktor Visage, Angry Annie and Bubble Bubble, Toil and Trouble
The process is really simple:
- Color each tile with Golden Acrylic Paint (Carbon Black)
- Color and scan images.
- Re-size image as desired and print. I used part of the face just to create interest.
- Adhere image to Scrabble tile using Glossy Accents.
- Cover the surface of the paper with Glossy Accents, this seals the paper and protects our work.
- Once it is dry you can adhere to the ring blank using an industrial strength adhesive resistant to water, I like to use E-6000. Allow to dry completely (I usually wait 48 hours before wearing mine).
Enjoy your new rings, just imagine the possibilities!
I have some news, I will giveaway some of the projects that I design for this event and rings #3, 4 and 5 will be part of the giveaway . Just leave a comment and I'll choose the winners on October 31st.
