Yay, it is day 2 in this event. First day was so inspiring.
Today's project is a mini book:

Used Archival inks (Jet Black, Vermillion and Saffron), Distress Inks (Vintage Photo and Fired Brick) for the pages.
For the cover I used  Pewter and Black embossing powder and Perfect Pearls.
The rubber stamps are from Smeared Ink Rubber Club: Voodoo and Urban Decay.

31 Days of Halloween 2013: Day 1

Finally... 31 Days of Halloween are here!!!
I'm one of the Wicked Bloggers and you can find the complete Blog Hop Roll on the side bar.
The challenge for the Wicked Blogger is to post a new project each day in October following the theme of Halloween or Day of the Dead.
You can win prizes by leaving comments on each blog in the hop and there are some surprises so keep your eyes open for the scavenger hunt.
See all the info here.
You better be ready, cause this hop is going to be one filled with fun, scary and wicked creations.
Here is my offering for today:

I used Voodoo rubber stamp featuring images from Rick St. Dennis, you can find this set here.
Stamped the image with Archival ink on shrink film and colored it with sharpies and Spectrum Noir. Heated it and the image came to life, it turned into a pendant for this very cute necklace.
I have some news, I will giveaway some of the projects that I design for this event, staring with this necklace. Just leave a comment and I'll choose a winner on October 31st.
Now hop over to Steph's blog, she has something special for you.
Thanks!
Love,
Julia

The Airless Chamber Design Team members for this challenge are: Rick, Monique and me.
Here is my project inspired in a metal garden using Angus MacPunque and Victoria McSteeme

Batty Betty and More...

Hello everyone!
I am so excited and happy to share this project today.
As a crafter and artist I really enjoy working with Rick St. Dennis images.
You can find from those whimsical images to the ones that I've come to love, the edgier and darker ones. I totally feel free to create when I am working with them and that is the most important part of the creative process: feeling happy and enjoying what you are doing.
Enough with how I feel , and back to the amazing images.
My first project features: Batty Betty, and you can find her HERE.

Love her expression, and those eyes an who doesn't love the gorgeous bat in her hair, yes I made mine 3D and shiny with Sakura Metallic Gel Pens. How much fun is that?
I will also share a project, well an oldie but goodie, featuring Monster Clown, this is a creation from last November, and you can read the details HERE.

You can find this and many more images in Rick St Dennis Etsy Store.
Hope you enjoy this creations, I sure had lots of fun making them.
