Here is the card I made for Aletha featuring The Fairy Aletha from The Stamping Boutique.
The background was added digitally (digi paper set - Sugarplum Paperie) and the image was colored with Copics and Prisma Coloring Pencils.
Added Perfect Pearls to the flower and wings, love how shiny they are.
The final touch some ribbon and of course bling.
We have a special gift for those that hop with us. Tracey Malnofski, owner/artist of The Stamping Boutique donated this gorgeous image (one of Aletha’s favorite digi stamps), as “Thank You” for been part of this celebration, just remember it will be a freebie for the duration of this hop (September 8-9).
Sorry Freebie has been removed, but you can find it HERE!

The Mad Hatter!

Who's my favorite character from Alice in Wonderland????
Yeap... The Mad Hatter, he's madness is so analytically correct, that he is the borderline of crazy and logical thoughts.
I used an image the from the Alice in Wonderland Collection from The Stamping Boutique and I had so much fun coloring it.
This card features the Mad Hatter at it's best with purple hair and green face, he's looking for Alice, but I'm not sure he found her...

Added some tiny jewels to the hat pins on the image, love how it shines. I love the DP, it complements the darkness of this card so do the two elaborated brads at the bottom corners of the card.
I'm part of the DT for Poisoned Peas Please and  the theme is Unusual Alice. There is still time to play in the challenge.

Alice in Wonderland!

Do I love the movie Alice in Wonderland????
Yes, I do...
I have some Alice in Wonderland images from The Stamping Boutique and I had so much fun working with them.
This first card is an unusual Alice, love her purple hair and her green eyes.

Made an easel card, and the base card and DP help make this card unusual.

Challenge # 5 at Poisoned Peas Please!

I'm late, I'm late...
I feel like the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland!!!
A little drop of the "Drink me" potion on the top of the table and my ginormous ideas are now in a compact card! The Cheshire Cat has finally decided to make his appearance and bring his luminous smile into the dark circle.  Run! Run! Don't look back! The Queen of Hearts sent her team of cards after my creation! Quick, jump inside the Mad Hatter's Hat, he will hide us and make us tea and all sorts of yummy foods...
We have a new challenge at Poisoned Peas Please, an alternative art challenge blog.
The theme for the third challenge is :
Unusual Alice!
It is all about "Alice in Wonderland" and her adventurous journey.
Be creative and feel free to express your artistic ideas.
You can use any image for this challenge and we would LOVE to see all types of creations (ex. cards, scrap layouts, fat book pages, artist trading cards, tags, boxes, bags, 3D ~ Altered Art or any other crafting projects that have some form of paper on them). This is a month long challenge.
Here is my inspiration:
