Today I bring a mixed media art journal page that is also my inspiration for the Art Journal Every Day group over the Smeared and Smudged Forum. We have a new Art Journal Challenge and we can't wait to see your creations. The prompt is Bloddy Heart!
Supplies:

  • Smeared Ink Rubber Stamp Sets: Quoth the Raven and Inky Dreams
  • Canson Mixed Media paper (140 lb)
  • Ranger Distress Ink Pad (Black Soot)
  • Pan Pastels
  • Versamark Ink
  • Ranger's Archival Ink: Jet Black
  • ColorBox Ink: Frost White
  • India Ink: Red
  • Spectrum Noir Markers
That heart is creepy. 
Reading Poe's poems and stories are one of my favorite things to do during this time of the year.
