Domino Art: 15 Days of Terror, Day 12

Day 12 of 15 Days of Terror at Domino Art is here!!!
Today's project is a mini heart canvas featuring an image from a Smeared Ink Rubber Stamp Set - Quoth the Raven.
The supplies used:

  • 3 Dominoes
  • Permapaque Pen (Black)
  • Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (Clear)
  • Versamark Stamp Pad
  • Perfect Pearls (Perfect Cooper)
  • Amaco Rub and Buff (Gold Leaf)
  • Mini Canvas
  • Golden Fluid Acrylic Paints (Carbon Black, Titanium White)
  • Deco Art Acrylic Paint ( Christmas Red)
  • Artistcellar Stencil Set ( Quasi-Crystals)
  • E - 6000 Glue
The process is really easy:

  • Cover the solid side of the domino with VersaMark and add the clear embossing powder.
  • Melt the powder with the heating gun.
  • Repeat this step 2 more times.
  • While the enamel is still hot, press the surface with the stamp, careful not to touch it.
  • Remove the stamp and allow to cool completely before doing anything else to the domino.
  • Once it cools down, the enamel hardens and the stamped image is permanent.
  • Color the surface of the enamel with Perfect Pearls.
  • Use Rub and Buff over the image to bring out the details.
  • Cover the sides of the domino with a Permapaque Pen (Black).
  • Color your Mini Canvas with Black Golden paint and add the details with the stencils.
  • Glue the dominoes to the canvas using E6000 adhesive.
Enjoy your new canvas, just imagine the possibilities!
Thanks!
Love,
Julia

The process is very simple. First stain the domino with the archival ink and add a few drops of rubbing alcohol while still wet. the ink will move and create different patterns. Allow to dry completely.
The image was glued with Glossy Accents. Added a little drop of Glossy Accents to  the eye and sprinkled red glitter all over it.
Allow to dry completely, then cover all the surface with Glossy Accent.
